Director:
A recognized fixture in Canadian business and the international mining industry, Mr. Kearney has in excess of 30 years experience in the mining industry.
In addition to myriad interests and accomplishments, Mr. Kearney is Chairman of Anglesey Mining PLC, Director of Minco plc and Conquest Resources Limited.
Previously Mr. Kearney was the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Northgate Exploration Limited; Campbell Resources Inc. and Sonora Gold Corp.
Mr. Kearney has held positions on several boards of publicly traded companies in Canada and abroad including the Mining Association of Canada and The Gold Institute.

Rodney J. McCann. B.A. |
Managing Director & Director:
An experienced entrepreneur, Rodney J. McCann has been involved in numerous businesses in a diverse number of industries.
In addition to his responsibilities at Airborne, Mr. McCann is the President and CEO of Saskatchewan Minerals, an industry leading supplier of natural sodium sulphate to blue-chip customers.
Mr. McCann has been involved in numerous sectors at various stages of maturity including but not limited to startups and turnarounds.
Mr. McCann has a solid track record for effectively increasing market share, revenue and profitability in a timely and conscientious manner, this success can be attributed to strategic thinking along with excellent leadership, mentoring, negotiating and communication skills.
An active participant in community events, Mr. McCann is a member of the Young President's Organization, a Director of the Hospice Calgary Foundation as well as a mentor in the Washington State University Mentors Program. Additionally, Mr. McCann is a both a sponsor of and volunteer at St. Mary's Feed the Hungry program. |

Brent Hironaka, B. Comm., CA |
Chief Financial Officer:
With more than 20 years experience in senior financial positions in both public and privately held companies, Mr. Hironaka is responsible for all financial and administrative functions for Airborne Clean Energy.
Prior to joining Airborne, Mr. Hironaka was the Vice President, Controller for Lafarge Corporation - Construction Materials Division - Western Region. His experience includes assignments in Washington D.C, and the Greater Toronto Area, prior to returning to Calgary.
Mr. Hironaka has been involved in the financial due diligence and closings of several acquisitions, and the project management and financial oversight for multi-million dollar system installations.
Mr. Hironaka is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta, receiving the Chartered Accountant designation in 1985. |

Murray Mortson
P.Eng. |
President & Chief Operating Officer:
Mr. Mortson graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1980 with a degree in Engineering. For over a quarter of a century Mr. Mortson has been involved in the energy industry. His career has spanned the engineering and construction worlds related to heavy industrial projects including: sweet and sour gas processing, flue gas desulphurization, heavy oil plants, water injection, compression, steam injection, pipelines, mining, pulp and paper, petrochemical, and chemical regeneration facilities.
Associated with the University of Calgary, Mr. Mortson is a lead lecturer in the Construction Management program; an eligible course within the faculty of graduate studies.
Mr. Mortson has spent 9 years in construction and 11 years in the engineering world which included Colt Engineering where he was twice honored with Colt's annual Most Valuable Player award.
Mr. Mortson held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Airborne for a period of 6 years. During this time he steered the technical advancements of the company securing patents on both the regeneration and the scrubbing systems.
Mr. Mortson relinquished this post in 2003 when he was recruited for the Vice President position at Optima - Hatch, a subsidiary of Canada's largest engineering corporation.
Recently, Mr. Mortson returned to Airborne where he resumed his responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer and as an invaluable member of the senior management team. |

Wayne Mortenson

Mr. Mortensen, an engineer, has 45 years experience in all aspects of sodium bicarbonate and sodium carbonate production facilities. He has worked his entire life in this industry with such notable companies as Church & Dwight Inc. (17 years) as both a project and a plant manager, and Solvay (8 years) as the site executive responsible for all engineering and construction of facilities. Mr. Mortensen has conducted or directed over 40 technical studies in his field. Mr. Mortensen has produced sodium bicarbonate with the Solvay method, the Trona method, and the Airborne system making his qualifications unique in history.

Dennis Johnson
P.Eng. MBA |
Dennis is one of the nation’s top specialists in Flue Gas Desulfurization. Dennis has 50 U.S. patents in the industry, several international patents, and several patents pending. He authored or coauthored more than 20 technical publications and wrote the Environmental Measurement chapter in the 40th edition of Steam. As manager of Design Engineering for the Babcock and Wilcox organization, Dennis was involved in all the R&D on environmental products and every demonstration plant B&W undertook in the 80's and early 90's. Dennis is an expert on many relevant subjects including sodium scrubbing, sorbent injection, NOx and SOx reduction, condensing heat exchangers, air toxics, and particulate removal. Dennis is a graduate of Kansas State University with a B.S Chemical engineering, has an MBA through Baldwin Wallace College and is a registered Project Management Professional. Dennis has numerous contacts in the power generation and coal industries due to his many years of experience and his senior role with the Fluor Power Group. |
David Lewin
P.Eng. |
David is one of Canada’s top specialists in Flue Gas cleanup. He is a senior VP of Epcor, and was responsible for their landmark Genesis project. Dr. Lewin is the Chairman of the Canadian Clean Coal Power Coalition.
