Airborne Clean Energy’s Board of Directors Announces Murray Mortson, P. Eng. as the new President and C.O.O. as well as Brent Hironaka, CA. as C.F.O.

Airborne Clean Energy’s board of directors is pleased to promote Murray Mortson, P. Eng. from Chief Operating Officer to President and Chief Operating Officer and Brent Hironaka, CA. from controller to Chief Financial Officer.

Murray Mortson, P. Eng.
Mr. Mortson graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1980 with a degree in Engineering. For over a quarter of a century Mr. Mortson has been involved in the energy industry. His career has spanned the engineering and construction worlds related to heavy industrial projects including: sweet and sour gas processing, flue gas desulphurization, heavy oil plants, water injection, compression, steam injection, pipelines, mining, pulp and paper, petrochemical, and chemical regeneration facilities.
Formerly associated with the University of Calgary, Mr. Mortson was the lead lecturer in the Construction Management program; an eligible course within the faculty of graduate studies.

Mr. Mortson has spent 9 years in construction and 11 years in the engineering world, which included Colt Engineering where he was twice honored with Colt's Most Valuable Player award.
Mr. Mortson held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Airborne for a period of 6 years. During this time he steered the technical advancements of the company securing patents on both the regeneration and scrubbing systems. Mr. Mortson relinquished this post in 2003 when he was recruited for the Vice President position at Optima - Hatch, a subsidiary of Canada's largest engineering corporation. Mr. Mortson returned to Airborne where he resumed his responsibilities as President and Chief Operating Officer.

Brent Hironaka, CA.
With more than 20 years experience in senior financial positions in both public and privately held companies, Mr. Hironaka is responsible for all financial and administrative functions for Airborne Clean Energy.
Prior to joining Airborne, Mr. Hironaka was the Vice President, Controller for Lafarge Corporation - Construction Materials Division - Western Region. His experience includes assignments in Washington D.C, and the Greater Toronto Area, prior to returning to Calgary.

Mr. Hironaka has been involved in the financial due diligence and closings of several acquisitions, and the project management and financial oversight for multi-million dollar system installations.

Mr. Hironaka is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta, receiving the Chartered Accountant designation in 1985.
